How to keep your mileage on track the FairMile program uses your actual miles driven each month to calculate your monthly premium adjustment.
Here are things you can do to keep your Auto policy on track:
• Keep an eye on your email.
You should be receiving some onboarding emails soon with shipping information, download links for the FairMile mobile app, and Geotab® GO device installation instructions.
If you don’t receive these emails, contact your Farmers agent for help.
• Look out for a package to arrive.
If you don’t receive your package in about a week, please contact your Farmers agent for help.
• Install your devices:
Once the devices arrive, be sure to install them within the 10-day grace period to avoid any penalty miles that could increase your premium.
• Download the FairMile App.
The FairMile app can be found in the App Store or the Google Play Store.
The app can help you successfully install your devices, track your actual miles driven each month, display the current location of all your vehicles, provide you with insights into your employee’s driving behaviors, and alert you of any potential engine problems.
• Monthly Billing
Your FairMile Commercial Auto policy is required to be set up on automatic payments. At the beginning of each month we’ll bill you based on estimated miles driven. At the end of the month your actual miles driven will be reported and a premium adjustment will be issued to give you a credit back if you drove less than estimated or a premium debit will be issued if you drove more than estimated.
